These terms govern use of ImageTo100.com, the public browser compressor at https://imageto100.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.

1. The service

ImageTo100.com compresses images toward a kilobyte target in your browser. The homepage default is 100KB. You may type another target from 5KB to 10MB. Output is JPG.

The service is provided free, as-is, without an account. Features may be added, changed, or removed.

This is a public utility, not a paid processing contract and not a government filing service.

2. No account

Core compression does not require registration. There is no customer dashboard and no stored photo library on ImageTo100.com.

3. Technical limits

To keep the page usable on ordinary devices, the tool may enforce limits such as:

  • About 50MB per source file on a phone, 100MB on a computer
  • Up to 20 files in one batch
  • Target size from 5KB to 10MB
  • A maximum longest edge around 4096 pixels before the quality search
  • Browser support for the source format (HEIC depends on the browser)

We may tighten limits if a file class crashes tabs or degrades the host.

4. Your files and rights

You keep whatever rights you already have in the photos you process.

You must only use the tool on files you are allowed to process. You are responsible for rights clearance before you submit a result to an employer, embassy, exam board, or any other third party.

Site code, brand, and design remain ours. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service, or present ImageTo100.com as a government or portal brand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the tool for unlawful content or activity
  • Attack, probe, or disrupt the host beyond ordinary browsing
  • Abuse automation so other people cannot load the page
  • Upload malware through any form
  • Send identity documents, passwords, or secrets through email or Feedback

6. Output is your responsibility

JPEG quality steps are discrete. A result may land at 96–100KB rather than exactly 100.00KB. Very small targets on very large photos may look blocky or fail to hit the cap (best effort).

We do not warrant that:

  • A job, visa, exam, or email portal will accept the file
  • Pixel size, background color, or face-size rules are met — this tool targets bytes, not a biometric template
  • A PDF form, iLovePDF workflow, or any other site will accept the JPG
  • HEIC, exotic color profiles, or every browser will behave the same

You must check the downloaded file size and the rest of the form rules before you submit.

7. Third-party services

The site may rely on:

  • Cloudflare, to host and deliver static files
  • A feedback inbox, only if you submit the header form
  • Your browser, to decode and encode images

Their terms apply to those pieces. Compression itself is designed to stay on the device. See the Privacy Policy.

8. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular visual quality, or acceptance by any third-party portal.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImageTo100.com and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including a rejected application, a missed deadline, or a file that still exceeds a portal cap after best-effort compression.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

10. Enforcement

We may restrict access if we reasonably detect abuse, unlawful use, or a serious breach of these terms.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated when the product changes. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after publication means you accept the updated terms.
